Ethiopia

The story says, Coffee was discovered in Ethiopia over 5,000 years ago. Legend is the goat herder named Kaldi who discovered the beans when his flock became uncontrollable after eating certain berries found on a small tree.

He brought some of the berries to local monks who drank their first cup together. Coffee in Ethiopia is still grown, harvested and is considered as one of the most distinguishing coffee origin globally.
