Colombia
Colombia
Colombia is one of the finest arabica coffee growing region in the world and has been consistent with its quality since the beginning. It was first introduced into Colombia by Jesuit priests who arrived with Spanish settlers.
The first crops were harvested in the Northeast of Colombia, but soon coffee was quickly adopted across the nation by small, family farms, known as Finca’s. Colombia offers the perfect growing conditions for the Arabica bean, offering ideal weather conditions with rich volcanic soil for producing coffees which are considered to be among the best in the world and a source of national pride for all Colombian Coffee farmers.
